We've decided it's time to sell our 1995 Honda Civic DX hatchback project car. The car is setup for SCCA Solo II competition, specifically the STS class, but could also make a very reliable and economical daily driver. The car has right around 77,000 miles on it and is in really good shape. It came from South Carolina and has never seen snow or salt. From what I can tell there is no rust, and even underneath the car is really clean. The paint is in pretty good shape and there are the usual number of dings for a 13 year old car. The Interior is in great shape with very little wear on the seats or carpet, and the dashboard has no cracks. It has an Alpine in-dash stereo/CD player but only has the factory speakers. Air conditioning seems to blow pretty cold and the heater works perfectly.
The car is probably 40% prepared for the STS class... meaning there are still quite a few things you can do to it to make it really competetive. We raced it at approximately 10-12 events over the course of two seasons and it took several 1st place trophies.
I just had the timing belt / water pump service done on the car.
