Schroth Rallye 4 Quick Fit Harness Belt
The Rallye 4 Quick Fit harness, as shown in the photo above, is designed to clip in and out of your vehicle utilizing the factory seat belts. These harnesses only require an adapter or two to be installed in the car, and once that is done, they clip in and out in a matter of seconds. Currently Schroth makes these belts for the MINI, E36 BMW's, E39 BMW's, E46 BMW's, certain Audi/VW's, and the Subaru WRX and STi.
Besides being easy to install and remove from your car, another key selling point for the quick fit belts is that they utilize the factory seat belt pre-tensioner by clipping into the factory female seat belt receptacles. The pre-tensioner tightens the lap belt about 2” during an impact, further preventing the occupant from submarining. Also, since these belts clip into the female receptacle, the cars computer recognizes the seat belt is in use and deploys the airbag at a slower, less violent rate.
Standard Schroth Rallye 4 Harness Belt
The standard Rallye 4 harness belt is very similar to the quick fit belt, but it is permanently bolted in to your vehicle. It does however have a quick release mechanism on the rear shoulder belt to allow you to unclip and drop the belt out of the way for rear seat use.
